ABOUT THE COLUMNISTS

Enrique Andrade González is an
attorney and consultant specializing in business and investment in Mexico. His areas of special expertise include new
investments, government services and liaison, the Mexican legislative agenda, lobbying, constitutional studies, and legal
and political risk analyses.
He was Director of Audiences and Hearings
for President Vicente Fox, in the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, until September 2004 when after 15 years of service
he left the federal government for private practice.
Lic. Andrade received his LL.M. in Constitutional
and Protection (“Amparo”) Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana, with Doctor of Laws studies at the Universidad
National de México. He has been a law professor at the Universidad Intercontinental and Universidad Anáhuac.

• Patrick Corcoran is an English teacher and writer living in Torreón,
Coahuila, in northern Mexico. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in history. He has written
about a wide variety of subjects while working for publications in Chicago, Illinois, and Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as
